Choitre Boi Utshab 2019 concludes

A seasonal book fair, Choitre Boi Utshab 2019, was organised in collaboration with 10 publications at Bangladesh National Museum. The event concluded on Thursday.  Artist Hashem Khan, the chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Bangladesh National Museum, was present to inaugurate the festival. Md Reaz Ahmed, the director general of Bangladesh National Museum and poet Mohammad Nurul Huda were also present as special guests.

Anisul Haque,Dr Rezaur Rahman, Subrata Barua, Professor Harunuzzaman, Faruq Mahmud, Rezaul Karim Khokon, Ata Sarkar, Dr Mostak Sharif, Morshed Shafiul Hasan, Saymon Zakaria, Zunat Nashit and others also visited the festival.

​Choitre Boi Utshab 2019 offered a diverse collection of books, including children’s fiction, science fiction, poetry, books on the Liberation War and many others. The event was organised with the aims of celebrating Choitro and developing an appreciation for books among the young generation.
