After 7 months of inactivity, Star Cineplex has opened its gates for the audience again through the premiere of two films - "Mulan" and "Tenet."
Even though the government gave permission to reopen cinema halls around the country from October 16, Cineplex took the extra time for ensuring hygiene and safety for all film lovers coming to its doors.
"We are committed to providing the best services possible, keeping the safety of our valued customers at the forefront," said Mahboob Rahman, Chairman, Star Cineplex.
He emphasised that the company was working towards prioritising digital payment methods to keep everyone safe.
He further notified that even though the costs will increase significantly due to sanitation and decreased capacity, it will not affect the ticket prices.
All branches of Star Cineplex will now run at 40 percent of its capacity, in order to maintain social distancing. Wearing protective masks is mandatory at its premises.
