IS claims responsibility for Sylhet blasts

Islamic State (IS) reportedly claimed the responsibility for the bomb blasts near a militant den in Sylhet city's Shibbari tonight that killed at least three people and injured many.

SITE Intelligence, a terror monitoring group, has cited IS's Amaq news agency claiming the responsibility hours after the attack.

Three people, including a policeman, were killed and 30 others injured in two bomb blasts that took place during an Army-led operation on the den -- 'Atia Mahal', a five-storey building where an unknown number of militants were holing up.
