Only one percent vote has been cast at a polling center in West Bakalia area in Chattogram city till 12:00pm, four hours after voting started.
The polling centre, designated for female voters, is one of the four centres in Bakalia Govt High School under CCC Ward No. 17.
The centre has six polling booths while the total number of voters is 2887.

A total of 30 votes has so far been counted in all the six booths, said Presiding Officer Kanon Das.
Turnout of female voters is very poor, he said.
No polling agents of BNP nominated mayoral candidate Dr Shahadat Hossain or of BNP backed councillor candidate Ariful Islam Duke was seen in any of the polling booths at the centre.
The polling officers said no agent of those candidates arrived or approached them.
