President Abdul Hamid has stressed the need for enhancing cooperation between Bangladesh and Nepal through strengthening connectivity.
The president said this while addressing a banquet hosted by Nepalese President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.
Hamid highlighted the importance of strengthening road, rail and air connectivity, water resource management, power and energy and boosting tourism, as the two countries have immense potential in these areas.
“Bangladesh attaches greater importance to its relations with Nepal,” he said. The president hoped that Bangladesh and Nepal will be able to harness the existing synergies.
