JnU to expel students involved in ragging

Jagannath University today issued a notice saying that the authorities will expel the students who will involve in ragging on the campus.

The JnU authorities also asked all the department chairmen to circular the notice among the students, teachers and staff, according to the notice singed by the university’s Registrar Md Ohiduzzaman.

Ragging is against the discipline of the university and a punishable offence, the notice said.

The decision was taken as a precautionary measure though no incident of ragging was reported in the university yet.
