The Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued circulars of the 42nd and the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.
The circulars were published on the commission's website today.
The 42nd BCS will be special, according to the circular, as two thousand assistant surgeons will be recruited through it to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
Through the general 43rd BCS, 1,814 officials will be recruited, including 300 in public administration, 100 in police, 25 in foreign service and 843 teachers.
Applications can be filed for 42nd BCS exam from 10:00am on December 1 till 6:00pm on December 27. The application has to be filed online.
Meanwhile, the application process for the 43rd BCS will be open from 10:00am on December 31 till 6:00am on January 30.
