Sheikh Hasina, also the president of the ruling Awami League, returned home this evening concluding her five-day official visit to the Kingdom Saudi Arabia.

A Bangladesh Biman flight carrying the prime minister and members of her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 7:50pm, reports BSS.

Sheikh Hasina paid the visit at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and it was her visit to Saudi Arabia after the King's swearing-in in January 2015.

She left Dhaka for Jeddah on June 3. She performed the holy "umrah" in Makkah and offered Ziarat at Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid-e Nabvi during her stay in the kingdom.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, youngest daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Rehana and a business delegation accompanied the Prime Minister.
