A 26-year-old, suffering from fever and breathing problem, died 15 minutes after being admitted at Narail General Hospital last night.
The patient was admitted at the hospital yesterday around 9:00pm with complaints of fever, breathing problem and vomiting, Dr Abdul Momen, civil surgeon (CS) of Narail, said.
Before any medical test could be done, he died within 15 minutes after being admitted, the CS said.
"Discussing with IEDCR and district administration, we gave permission of funeral since the youth had no history of foreign travel in recent time," Dr Momen said.
However, people who came in contact with the youth, were asked to stay in home-quarantine, he added.
The youth was buried around 1:00am today at South Narail Graveyard, locals said.
He hailed from South Narail village and was a betel nut trader at Rupganj Bazar.
