Capes, stoles, shawls or jackets —the season of sartorial experimentation is almost here. What makes me happier is that we shall be able to pair the fashionable sheathings with all sorts of long pants. I have always had a soft corner for them pants, but due to the intense heat and humidity, which is a standard for our country — I have steered clear of the distress. But that's a separate story on its own; as winter is almost here, let's not worry too much about what cannot be.
As uncanny as the name may sound, it is a favourite! These informal pants can be easily paired off with anything from comfort tees to crop tops. You may wear it to the stores if you wish, given the fact that you are comfortable travelling back through time, pulling off the teenage look.
Of course, your teen sister or cousins won't be too happy!
Who ever said pants could be paired off with Tattersall or Gingham shirts never knew that culottes and scarves exist. In fact, culottes can be paired off with everything under the sun from floaty tops to camisoles.
JUMPSUITS AND HAREM PANTS
For afternoons of enjoying sisterhood and kitties, there's nothing better than a dollop of style added to amplify the fun. If you want to look different from the others, yet look relaxed and modish, then jumpsuits and harem pants are exactly what you are looking for.
BAGGIES AND BELL BOTTOMS
Most of us are often nostalgic in some way or the other. If you feel like you are transfixed by the retro era, then bell bottoms and baggies are predestined for you.
PEG LEGS, PALAZZOS AND JODHPURS
Many of us are uncomfortable wearing anything shorter than a kurti, but there are no reasons to fret. The world of pants has not vilified us, because there are Jodhpurs, palazzos and peg legs that can be stylishly paired with kameezes, kurtis, midis and flowy tops.
These were just few names. There are so many more options like jeggings, leggings, cargo pants, capris that you can experiment with to create your own unique look.
At the end of the day, the popular saying goes, 'Wear only what you feel comfortable in!’
