Buying a suit is quite the overwhelming task on its own. Pick the wrong fit and welcome a world of unflatter, go for the wrong pattern and end up looking like the clown from ‘It’ and not suave as James Bond; if your accessorising game is not just perfect, then you end up looking a little lost.
A potential minefield of faux pas awaits one, if you do not have the basics of a suit and ample research done.
This is where Infinity brings in a range of formal suits in high quality and comfortable fabrics that can be bought as a two-piece, or individually, depending on what you need, and in a range of classy colours such as grey, navy blue, sky blue, and the must have black!
They also offer a large selection of formal shirts in solid colours to perfectly complement the jacket or blazer you want to pair it with.
Regardless of how much you splurge for that new suit, it all goes to utter waste if the thing does not fit you perfectly. Too tight, and you might look like a fizzy drink bottle’s cap that’s about to pop, or the exact opposite and Uncle Frumpy is your middle name. So, remember the right fit is integral — close to the shoulders, slim through the torso, and tapered pants.
Seam! Seam! Seam!
The pads should sit in a flat manner and must not stick out beyond your shoulders. The seam of the shoulder and sleeve should meet where your arm naturally meets the shoulder, if it does not, then it might not sit right or look like its simply hanging off you.
The length of the jacket must extend past the wrist bone, while the shirt should extend at least one-half inch below it, when the arm is kept at rest. Any violation of that rule essentially grants your new suit the title of old/borrowed.
The fit of the jacket should be close to around your stomach and not too tight. The idea is that there must be a fist’s equal of space between the jacket and the body
The cuff of your trousers should touch the top of your shoes and not be any longer, or risk looking sloppy.
Infinity offers suits in both regular and slim fit, perfect for everyday and formal wear. From full suits to just blazers — take your pick and channel your inner George Clooney this winter wedding season!
