An eclectic evening with Arnab Bhattacharya and Nishit Dey

Arnab Bhattacharya, a young talent in Sarod, drew his inspiration at a tender age from his father Sri Swapan Kumar Bhattacharya. Arnab's father introduced him to the world of North Indian Classical Instrumental Music under the tutelage of Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta, and his repertoire and style is of the traditional Seniya Shahajahanpur Gharana.

With the sitar, Nishit has stepped on to the 4th generation of his family lineage of pure classical music. He first took lessons from his father Sanjib Dey (tabla) and classical music from his paternal uncle Asit Dey, both celebrated classical music teachers of the country. The trio performance will feature: Nishit on sitar, Arnab on sarod, and Nilimesh Chakraborty on tabla.

Mahmuda Tuli's solo photography exhibition titled 'State Of Mind' opened at 6:30 pm on Friday, 07 September 2018. The exhibition is hosted online @Artitude - www.artitude.com.bd. Eminent photographer Nasir Ali Mamun inaugurated the exhibition curated by Wakilur Rahman. Mahmuda Tuli is a freelance photographer and a graduate of Pathshala South Asian Media Institute of 2017. She has held three solo photography exhibitions . Tuli has also published a photo-book titled 'FOOD, By the Grace of Allah' from renowned publishing house Oitijjhya.
