Rab arrests 3 for making fake Covid-19 certificates

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) detained three people from a photocopy shop in the capital's Mugda for making fake negative and positive Covid-19 certificates.

The elite force also seized 50-60 fake certificates from the shop, said Rab-3 official and Additional Superintendent of Police Faizul Islam.

The arrests were made when a team of Rab-3, acting on a tip-off, conducted a drive at Mugda around 12:00pm today, said sources at the Rab.

According to Rab-3, the arrestees have been making fake certificates since the nationwide shutdown was declared on March 26.
