Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again stole the show as she walked the prestigious red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, this time in a stunning ultra-violet, blue and red gown that reflected the metamorphosis of a butterfly.
The Indian actress sure knows how to turn her Cannes entry a magnetic one as she walked on the red carpet yesterday in the dramatic gown with a long train, made by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco.
The outfit, that made Aishwarya look like a perfect mermaid, took 1,000 hours to finish, reports The Times of India.
It was covered in Swarovski crystals and French palettes, and boasted of a 20-feet long train that mimics a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, reports The Indian Express.
Aishwarya was accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya till the red carpet, who also looked cute in a red dress.
The former Miss World also made a Cinderella-like appearance in an ice blue off-shoulder Michael Cinco ball gown last year at the film festival.
This year marks Aishwarya's 17th year at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress is representing cosmetics giant L'Oreal at the film festival.
