Look out for - Chittagainga Poa, Noakhailla Maiya

The air of Dhallywood is filled with the buzz of upcoming movie teasers, posters, and post-production tasks. Since Eid is the time for the biggest silver screen releases, a total of five films are being released this time. Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in Tejgaon is crowded with stars, producers and directors, busy with the promotional activities for their films. Shakib Khan, the leading hero of the industry, is releasing a big budget film named ‘Chittagainga Poa, Noakhailla Maiya’.

News anchor turned actor Bubly is pairing up with Shakib in this film, directed by Uttam Akash. This famous pair has already entertained us with some other popular films including Shootar, Bossgiri and Rangbaaz.

While speaking about the story of the film, Akash mentioned that this would be a romantic comedy flick. Some parts of the movie have been shot in Thailand. Both the actors have worked very hard to get a good grasp over the dialects of both Chattagram and Noakhali. As a matter of fact, Bubly's ancestors were from Noakhali, but having been born and bred in Dhaka, she was not proficient in this dialect. Immediately after signing the film, the actor started practicing Noakhali dialect at her home.

Under the pressure to make tasteful and original movies, the producers and directors are working hard to provide content oriented movies. In the battle of producing high end films, our actors are constantly working on their acting skills and appearance.  Regarding this, Shakib Khan said, “I am very hopeful about this movie. Our audience will love it; they will see me in a new avatar.”
