Hollywood beauty Natalie Portman has recently revealed how she had to deal with the backlash from the Star Wars fans after her movies did not go down well with them. Portman played Padme Amidala, in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, who was later revealed to be the mother of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. Unfortunately, the prequel trilogy, Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith failed to live to up to the expectations of the fans and garnered negative criticism. While talking about the backlash, Portman told a British film magazine, “It was hard. It was a bummer because it felt like people were so excited about new ones and then to have people feel disappointed.” However, Portman also added that she believes, the fans have come to love the trilogy with time. “With the perspective of time, it’s been re-evaluated by a lot of people who actually really love them now. There’s a very avid group of people who think they’re the best ones now. I don’t have enough perspective to weigh in.” Portman was last seen in Brady Corbet’s musical drama Vox Lux.
