From a rather surprising turn of events, former Manchester United playmaker David Beckham, has recently sparked rumours of a cameo in the hit British drama series, Peaky Blinders! The former player was spotted on the set of the BBC drama. Beckham even posted a few snapshots of the now famous office of mafia kingpin Tommy Shelby, including one with the creator Steve Knight. He captioned the picture as; "amazing day on the Peaky Blinders set and big thanks to creator, Steve Knight and the crew for looking after me. Excited for season five".
The former footballer has already featured in numerous films, including The Man from UNCLE and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. He has also done commercials for high end brands, such as Apple and H&M. To send fans in further turmoil, his fashion label, Kent & Curwen has launched a new collection in collaboration with Peaky Blinders. It's not every day that Beckham collaborates and appears on the set of a mega-hit series and just happens to also release a collection inspired from the characters' attires.
As of now, there is no exact date for airing the fifth season of Peaky Blinders, however, it is presumed that the new season will return to television sometime in the summer of 2019.
