Barcelona had one of their better games under manager Ronald Koeman during their 2-0 win against a lacklustre Juventus in the Champions League. Pedri impressed while Lionel Messi looked good too and scored from the penalty spot. The Argentine's effort on the pitch impressed former Juve coach Fabio Capello.
Former England coach Fabio Capello spoke after the game about the Argentine's attitude. "I saw a super-dynamic and aggressive Barca, on top of the known quality," he explained. "With a Messi who I have never seen run so much."
Koeman certainly wants his team to work hard and Messi is no exception. The dutchman had earlier reiterated that Messi's form could be better. The duo however greeted each other harmoniously after the final whistle in Turin.
Capello also felt Juventus were lucky to get away with only 2-0 but felt that the goals scored by Barca were quite fortunate.
"Juventus suffered a lot and were lucky that the final result was only 2-0, despite that the two goals were unjust, especially the first, a deflection."
