Heroes for All (HFA) organised a knowledge session titled, “Creating Markets Beyond Borders” under its on-going initiatives to inspire students through personal success stories of experts who are building their own trail with hard-work. On May 13, 2018, HFA collaborated with BUTEX to hold a first of its kind interactive session with the students. Ms Tajrina Mannan, the Creative Director and the Founder of Merrill+Forbes - a contemporary functional men’s street-wear brand in the luxury market abroad, was introduced to the youth through this session.
She inspired the students by sharing her experiences on how she decided to follow her passion for arts and fashion that led her to create a Bangladeshi brand at global level despite facing the barriers as a female entrepreneur in the men’s world of retail business.
More than 150 students attended the event and felt motivated as Ms Mannan answered their questions on how to overcome the barriers around to dreaming big. She also announced possible internship opportunities with her company which will be facilitated by HFA.
