Despite the hindrances due to the ongoing pandemic, top television channels of the country have come up with an array of special programmes for this Eid-Ul-Fitr. The Daily Star brings you a compilation of some of the finest television shows that will be aired throughout the festive season.
Eid special drama "Phuphur Eid", featuring Imtu Ratish, Sallah Nadiya, Monira Mithu, Jhuna Chowdhury, and Abdullah Rana among many others, will air tomorrow after the 8 pm news on BTV. The drama is produced by Shah Zaman Miah and directed by Fazlul Karim.
Eid tele-fiction "Shunno Ghore Purno Jibon", with Farhana Mili, Afzal Sharif, Saberi Alam, Mostafizue Rahman, and Shirin Alam, among others, will air on the channel after the 8 pm news on the first day of Eid. The production is produced by Md Imam Hossain and directed by Masum Reza. The Rezaul Rahman Ezaz directorial "Bibaho Bibhrat", featuring Imtu Ratish, Sallah Nadiya, and Monira Mithu, among others, will be televised at 10 pm on the second day of Eid. "Ahlader Athkhana", with Sazu Khadem, Urmila Srabonti Kar, and Masum Bashar, among others, will air after the 8 pm news on BTV, on the third day of Eid.
To celebrate Eid, television shows "Super Star", featuring Farhan and Porsha Evana among others, and "Local Hero" featuring Keya Payel and Mushfiq Farhan in the lead roles, will be aired on the first day of Eid at 8 pm and 11:20 pm, respectively at Ekushey TV. Afran Nisho and Arsha Ashik's "Oshomapto" will air at 8 pm the following day. "Marriage and Divorce", with Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Moushumi Hamid, and Rafiath Rashid Mithila, will be televised at 8 pm on the second day.
Deepto TV will air the telefilm "Shohore, Tukro Rodh'' at 4:30 pm on Eid day. The production, directed by Nur Imran Mithu, features Azmeri Haque Badhon and Partha Barua in the lead roles. The Tanim Rahman Ongshu directed short film "Iching Biching Coaching", featuring Manoj Kumar Pramanik and Saima Sriti, and tele-fiction "Graduate Hawker" with Tanjin Tisha and Zovan, will be aired on the same day at 10 pm and 7 pm respectively.
The single episode drama "Ami Mithila Na", with Rafiath Rashid Mithila and Imtu Ratish, along with celebrity game show "The Box" hosted by Nusrat Imrose Tisha with Ziaul Faruq Apurba as a guest, will be aired on Deepto TV the next day at 8 pm and 10:40 pm, respectively. Apurba and Tisha's "Shey Bouer Takai Chole" written and directed by Shihab Shaheen, will air on the third day of Eid at 8 pm.
Boishakhi TV will begin the festive season with the single episode drama "Hilla Biye". The production, written by Tipu Alam Milon, and directed by Sardar Rokon, stars Rashed Shimanto, Nadia Ahmed, and Aliul Haque, among others. "Mojider Kolbalish", a tele-fiction featuring Mir Sabbir and Nabila Islam, among others, will air at 8:10 pm the following day. The single episode Eid special drama "Ami Mir Zafar" will air at 8:10 pm on the third day of Eid. The production, written by Subata Rahik Zarifa and directed by Shajin Ahmed Babu, features Rashed Shimanto, Nilanjana Nila, and Masum Bashar, among others.
"Ei Prithibi Amader" with Tahsan Khan, Purnima, and Murina Mithu, among others, and "Swapnil", with Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury, will air at 8 pm and 9 pm respectively, on Eid day on NTV.
Family game show "Ma-Babai Shera" will air on Duronto TV at 9 am and 5:30 pm, from Eid day till the fifth day of Eid. It will feature guests such as Shatabdi Wadud, Farzana Chobi, and Tonima Hamid, along with their families.
Tele-fiction "Foring Jibon" will be aired at 9 pm on the second day. The production, written and directed by Gautam Koiri, features Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Urmila Srabonti Kar, Rawnak Hasan, and Moushumi Hamid among others. "Dosh Lokkho Marbel", with Mosharraf Karim and Zakia Bari Mamo, among others, will air at 8 pm on the third day of Eid.
