Pink City partners up with Duke of Edinburgh foundation

Pink City Home Owner Co-Operative Society Limited have signed an MoU with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh at a ceremony yesterday.

Dr Sheikh Faridul Islam, President of Pink City, and Md Khalid Shahrior, Programme Manager of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh signed on behalf of their respective organisations, , says a press release.

Through the agreement Pink City becomes the first Residential Community Partner of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award by making recognised award programme available to its youth residents, the press release said.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is one of the leading non-formal education programmes operating in 130 countries and territories including Bangladesh. It offers unique opportunities to youth aged from 14-24 to discover their hidden talents and help them prepare for the future.
