BNP chief’s adviser Barrister Ziaur Rahman dies from Covid-19

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's adviser Barrister Ziaur Rahman passed away with Covid-19 at a hospital in Dhaka last night.

Ziaur breathed his last at Impulse Hospital around 10:30pm, said Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP's media wing, told The Daily Star.

He was the son of late Ataur Rahman Khan, a former prime minister of Bangladesh (1984).

Barrister Ziaur was elected Member of Parliament four times.
