Jubair drives Abahani to 7-wicket win
Leg-spinner Jubair Hossain stole the show with a six-wicket haul in the Mashrafe Bin Mortaza-Tamim Iqbal clash as Abahani beat Kalabagan KC by seven wickets on the opening day of the Dhaka Premier League 2016 at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium on April 22.
Jubair ran through Kalabagan KC with figures of six for 34 in 9.1 overs which led to Kalabagan being dismissed for just 140 in 33.1 overs. Zimbabwe's Hamilton Masakadza was the highest scorer with a 54-ball 41.
Abahani cantered to victory in just 28.3 overs for the loss of only three wickets. In the chase, Uday Kaul top-scored with 44 off 56 balls while Nazmul Hossain chimed in with a 38-ball 35.
