Juventus and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has pulled off one of his craziest hairstyles, this time by simply shaving most of it off. The 35-year-old is currently in isolation and awaiting the results of yesterday's coronavirus test, which help determine today whether he can play against Barcelona in the Champions League next week.
Ronaldo is now in self-isolation after contracting the coronavirus on international duty. He tested positive on October 13.
According to UEFA regulations, Ronaldo must pass the test at least a week before the match and the results must be submitted to European football's governing body with enough time to analyse them.
That means the test has to be submitted by today at the latest, although Italian media reported yesterday that the test had already been taken.
He is now in a race against time to feature against Barcelona - and old rival Lionel Messi - next week, with the player likely to miss this weekend's clash against Hellas Verona.
Despite being kept out of action, Ronaldo looks in good spirits after being filmed by girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez putting himself through his paces.
She took a video of him on an exercise bike showing off his new look, with Ronaldo sharing the footage to his 241 million Instagram followers.
Captioning the post, he said: "Success in life is not measured by what you achieve, but by the obstacles you overcome."
Ronaldo - who sported a buzz cut look in August - also uploaded a snap of him giving the thumbs up to show he's feeling good.
