Two students from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) have been awarded with the fully funded Erasmus+ Scholarship, provided by the EU, to study a semester abroad.
Sadia Khan and Zafirah Zunairah Prithy, students of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department, have been selected from a pool of applicants, and they have spent a semester studying at the University of Maribor (UM) in Slovenia.
The students were also hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UM.
They both met amazing people from different cultures and also travelled around European countries and cities.
Both students urged that every university in Bangladesh should take the initiative to send their students on exchange programs and accept foreign students as well.
The students returned with an academically successful and enriching experience.
